Assignment #6 Monday 4/6 25 points.
• The student will write a paragraph on the value of safety as it relates to theatre. Consider these questions to help you write your paragraph. Why does safety matter? What steps can be taken in rehearsal to be sure that everyone involved is safe?

• The student will write out an example on how incorporating one design/technical element (sound, lighting, costumes, set, props, projections) helps the performance of a play or musical other than the example you used in your Day 1-6 example)

• The student will write a paragraph on the value of the actor articulating/enunciating as it relates to theatre. Think back to the last performance we did before spring break. Consider these questions to help you write your paragraph. Why is it so important that the audience hear an actor’s consonant sounds? If the actor is not articulating/enunciating each word, will the audience member lose interest in the performance?
• The student will write out an example on how incorporating one design/technical element (sound, lighting, costumes, set, props, projections) helps the performance of a play or musical (other than the example you used in your Day 1-7 example)

• The student will write a paragraph on the value of non-verbal communication or subtext in theatre. What is non-verbal communication? Give some examples you’ve seen in theatre (in class or otherwise) of communication beyond words.
• The student will write out an example on how incorporating one design/technical element (sound, lighting, costumes, set, props, projections) helps the performance of a play or musical other than the example you used in your Day 1-8 example)
