(b) Predict what would occur in land plants if a mutation were to affect the ability of Sas 4 to regulate microtubule activity.
(c) Compare your prediction to part (b) with what could occur in Saccharomyces cerevisiae if the same mutation were to occur.

I would say D) A decline or local extinction of the native fern species. This is because, if the kudzu grew over the ferns it would end up killing them, and because kudzu grows so fast it ferns stand a lesser chance of living.
