Reduction in population of Manatee
Explanation:
Manatees are aquatic species which live under the sea in sea grasses. Human activities have destroyed the sea grasses there by destroying their habitat. Also the fishing activities through boats and ships have several time hurt a manatee. Since the fertilization time of a manatee is quite large and during this time period any such human activity causes a risk to the production of newly born species. Such kind of risks reduces the population growth rate of manatees and thereby leads to its population reduction.
Also trapping of manatees leads to killing of manatees at a rate faster than their birth rate. This difference in the death and birth rate of manatees causes decline in their population.
