Explanation:
El microscopio óptico posee lentes (ocular y objetivo) los cuales permiten ampliar la imagen del objeto observado. El microscopio simple y el compuesto representan dos tipos de microscopios ópticos. El microscopio compuesto es aquel que utiliza más de una lente para aumentar la imagen observada, mientras que el microscopio simple usa una sola lente (la cual se denomina lupa). El microscopio óptico puede utilizar un aceite de inmersión que permite aumentar la resolución de la imagen a través de la inmersión de la lente objetivo.
