100 percent increase in the DNA content of a typical eukaryotic cell.
At the start of G1 phase, there is single set of DNA present in the nucleus of the cell but at the end of G2 phase, the DNA replication occurs in the S phase that occurs between G1 and G2 phase which produces 2 sets of DNA which can be equally distributed among the two daughter cells.
So we can conclude that 100 percent increase occur in the DNA content in the cell from the G1 phase to G2 phase due to replication of DNA molecules present in the nucleus of the eukaryotic cell.

Cell cycle is the series of events in which DNA replicates, cell grows in size, and divides to produce daughter cells. The 100 percent increase in the DNA content of the eukaryotic cell when it progresses through cell cycle.
Cell cycle has three main parts:
Interphase is the stage of cell cycle in which cell metabolizes and obtains nutrients. The cell in this phase grows and replicates the DNA for mitosis and perform normal functioning of the cell. The three phases of interphase are:
G1 phase G2 phase S phaseAt the start of G1 phase, the DNA is found in the single set. The cell is metabolically active and prepares itself to enter the G2 and then S phase of the cell cycle. In the G2 phase, the cell double its organelles and prepares extra proteins to help in the replication of the DNA. During the Synthesis or S phase, the replication of the DNA takes place. The genetic material after the cell division is equally distributed in the daughter cells, such that the number of chromosomes in the parent and daughter cells are same.
Therefore, there is 100 percent increase in the DNA content when cell progresses through G1 to S phase of the cell cycle.
