Write a "D" for Darwinism or an "L" for Lamarckism beside each statement. An environmental "stress" (predator or competition for food or habitat) will ultimately
"choose" which trait gets passed onto future generations.
An individual in a species "chooses" which trait gets passed onto future generations by
using traits more or less in their lifetime.
A zebra may be born slow but become fast during its lifetime because it is often
chased by predators. Its offspring will therefore be faster.
A faster zebra will not get eaten and therefore be able to reproduce and pass along its
genes for speed
