My personal plan is to exercise 60 minutes or more of physical activity daily. I know that it is important to participate in physical activities that are appropriate for my age group, that are enjoyable, and that offer positive benefits. If I exercise daily, I believe I will see positive changes in myself, inside and out. I already have a fitness routine which includes: walking, jogging, jumping jacks, crunches, lunges, squats, fire hydrants, donkey kicks, glute bridges, planks, etc. And every week as I go, I'm going to increase the amount of each activity I do and/or challenge myself little by little.
Some things that might prevent me from engaging in exercise are lack of confidence and going out of state. Sometimes I struggle with low self esteem, so it can be hard to commit to exercise. Regarding this, that's why I started small and built my way up. This will help me in the long run because it will help me build up confidence. When I leave the state and/or go on vacation/stay overnight somewhere, it can be difficult to keep up with exercising, because I am somewhere new and do not know the area. So, it can different to try and exercise outside if your staying in a hotel or somewhere similar for vacation. A way I can track my progress is a fitness journal. I use my fitness journal everyday to keep track of the activities I do, the foods I eat, and even my water intake. It's very helpful, because I can write down my goals and my steps toward achieving them.
