The last recession changed the way many companies offer support to people and communities in need. Many companies decreased financial donations but encouraged their employees to volunteer their time to corporate social initiatives and projects.

I wrote an essay about the same topic HERE IT IS Honesty is truth, and it should always be spoken. Even if the truth might be hard, we should always tell it. Lying is one of the worst things we, as people, can do. Would we feel bad if we didnt tell the truth to someone we loved? Well, of course we would. Lying might seem like the right thing to do in certain situations, but it is really NEVER the right thing to do. The truth is something that people perceive to be right, but what is right? Right is what we perceive as being true to ourselves, letting us know that the truth is right; to be honest is to be right. The truth should always be told because it may make things better, you should always make things right before you continue on with your life so you feel better inside, and of course, lying is never the way to go.
Telling the truth can definitely make things right in a tough situation. An example would be that, maybe a person gets convicted for a crime that they did not do. Well, of course, telling the truth might get them out of going to jail, but if they have evidence against him, then it might not go in his favor. If he had witnesses that would tell the truth, he might not go to jail. There are many other situations in which, honesty, and the truth would be the best way to go. The witnesses might now be helping their friend that actually did it, but they are making the situation better. That is all that matters. It might hurt the person, or people we care about, but will it help, or hurt the situation in the end? Telling the truth could definitely back-fire on you, but it could definitely help you in the long run. Not only will you feel better about telling the truth, but you will know that it is better for everyone around you to know rather than wonder.
To follow on the route of honesty, would the world be better if we all told the truth to everyone, and with everything that happened? You should always follow your heart. A good example is, if a couple were getting married but the bride had something to confess, would it be the bes thing to do? The truth is always right, even if the bride's news might hurt her fiance, she still needs to tell him. It will make her feel better too. Instead of having to hold the truth in, you should always let it out. You will ultimately feel better about yourself, knowing that you can tell the truth.
Lying is never the way to go. You should never lie, even if it might get you in trouble. We as people, should not have to lie. We should just automatically know to tell the truth, not to keep it all bottled up inside. Let's say that there was a teenager who had gotten a speeding ticket. They want to believe that it might be better to just pay it off, and not tell their parents. That is never the way to go! Yeah, it might get them in trouble, but you cannot just keep something locked up inside forever. Now might not seem like the right time, but telling someone tight after it happens, is better than not telling them at all, or telling them later in life.
Honesty should always be spoken out, even if it seems more bad than good, Honesty, and truth is a good thing. Listen to your heart, it will always tell you the correct, and loving thins
