Taking into account the definition of net ionic equation, the net ionic equation is Ag⁺ (aq) + Cl ⁻ (aq) → AgCl (s)
The net ionic equation is a chemical equation for a reaction that lists only the species that participate in the reaction.
In other words, an ionic equation is a chemical equation where electrolytes in aqueous solution are written as dissociated ions. Usually this is a salt dissolved in water.
The balanced equation will be:
AgF(aq) + NH₄Cl(aq) → AgS(s) + NH₄F(aq)
where (aq) means aqueous and (s) solid.
Taking into account that:
The salts containing the Cl-, Br- and I- anions are, in general, soluble. With the exception of the salts that these anions form with the cations Ag⁺, Pb²⁺ and Hg²⁺. Unless they are alkali metal or ammonium fluorides, they tend to be insoluble or slightly soluble. An exception is silver fluoride, AgF, which is very soluble in water. The salts containing the ammonium ion (NH₄⁺) are soluble. Then, the total ionic equation in separated aqueous solution will be:
Ag⁺ (aq) + F⁻ (aq) + NH₄⁺ (aq) + Cl ⁻ (aq) → AgCl (s) + NH₄⁺ (aq) + F⁻ (aq)
On the other side, a spectator ion is an ion that appears both as a reactant and as a product in an ionic equation.
Spectator ions can be either cations (positively charged ions) or anions (negatively charged ions).
When writing a net ionic equation, spectator ions found in the original equation are ignored. Thus, the total ionic reaction is different from the net chemical reaction.
In this case, NH₄⁺ and F⁻ are the spectator ions because they appear unchanged in both the product and the reagent. So these ions cancel out by writing the net ionic equation and you get:
Ag⁺ (aq) + Cl ⁻ (aq) → AgCl (s)
Finally, the net ionic equation is Ag⁺ (aq) + Cl ⁻ (aq) → AgCl (s)

Explanation:
1) Start by writing the total ionic equation:
The total ionic equation shows each aqueous substance in its ionized form, while the solid or liquid substances are shown with their chemical formula.
These are the ionic species:
AgF (aq) → Ag⁺ (aq) + F⁻ (aq) NH₄Cl (aq) → NH₄⁺ (aq) + Cl ⁻ (aq)NH₄F(aq) → NH₄⁺ (aq) + F⁻ (aq)Then, replace each chemical formula in the chemical equation by those ionic forms:
Ag⁺ (aq) + F⁻ (aq) + NH₄⁺ (aq) + Cl ⁻ (aq) → AgCl (s) + NH₄⁺ (aq) + F⁻ (aq)That is the total ionic equation.
2) Spectator ions:
The ions that appear in both the reactant side and the product side are considered spectator ions (they do not change), and so they are canceled.
In our total ionic equation they are F⁻ (aq) and NH₄⁺ (aq).
After canceling them, you get the net ionic equation:
3) Net ionic equation:
Ag⁺ (aq) + Cl ⁻ (aq) → AgCl (s) ← answerОтвет:
