What’s the charles and boyle’s law?

Boyle showed that the volume of a sample of a gas is inversely proportional to its pressure (Boyle's law), Charles and Gay-Lussac demonstrated that the volume of a gas is directly proportional to its temperature (in kelvins) at constant pressure (Charles's law),

1. Find the molar mass of NO2 (46.01)

2. Find the number of moles in 25 g of NO2 (by dividing 25 by the molar mass)     25/46.01 = .54

3. For every 3 moles of NO2 there are 2 moles of HNO3. multiply the number of moles of NO2 by 2/3

.54 x 2/3 = .36

4. Finally, multiply this number by the molar mass of HNO3 (63.018)

.36 x 63.018 = 22.68 g HNO3
