Well, to me, a cat trapped indoors is a sad prisoner. Cats are natural hunters. They are born to be free, chasing mice and other small animals. For cats, the outdoors is filled with adventure.
I suppose Simba could get hurt by a dog or car, and that would be terrible. But I live on a big farm. There are few nearby streets and few cars. Some of my neighbors have dogs, but they are far away. Cats are smart, and they would run away.
