5.How might the story be different if it were told from The White Rabbit's point of 5 points
view instead of Alice's?
The White Rabbit would become the main character and we would see a shift from
Alice's imagination playing out before our eyes and in turn see the White Rabbits
imagination playing out.
The story would still same the same we would just replace Alice with the White
Rabbit
The story would be different by having a more animalistic theme to it since we see it
through the eyes of the rabbit.
The story would go on just as it did, just without Alice seeing everything happen in
wonderland.

The correct answer is C. Mrs. Crater thinks she is gaining a son-in-law, when in fact Mr. Shiftlet takes her car, her money, and abandons her daughter at a diner.
Explanation:
In literature irony can take place as the literal meaning of the words used by a character or narrator is not consistent with the real message the narrator or character wants to transmit or when there is an incongruence between the expectations in some situation and the real outcomes of it. In the case of "The Life You Save May Be Your Own" irony takes place as a mother (Mrs. Crater) gives money, food, shelter and even her car to a stranger (Mr. Shiftlet) in order to convince him to marry her daughter Lucynell and by giving everything to Mr. Shiftlet she guarantees the man will marry and stay with her daughter, but instead Mr. Shiftlet who is a corrupt and evil man takes everything with him and even abandons Lucynell at a diner, which represents an incongruence between the expectations from the mother and the real outcome which is part of irony. Thus, the incident from this short story that is an example of irony is that "Mrs. Crater thinks she is gaining a son-in-law, when in fact Mr. Shiftlet takes her car, her money, and abandons her daughter at a diner" because in this statement there is an incongruence between the expectations of a character and the way the situation ended which one main features of irony.
