Passive to active means that you have to turn the sentence into a happening state. So you will have to remove the supporting past tense words like was/were.

1. Another car almost hit it

2. The freeway shows other animals

3. You expect me to believe that a zebra delayed you?

4. The radio is talking about it.

As soon as you realize you have a flat tire, do not abruptly brake or turn. Slowly reduce speed and scan your surroundings for a level, straight stretch of road with a wide shoulder.
