Does anybody have any tips on how to remember what the story was about in the books u read for english? thnx.

Write basic summary's of each page 1 word or 2 on a notecard

Take notes about the main events setting and make sure you understand the plot or theme of the story you are reading

I'd say the answer is A) like rivers, people keep moving and finding new paths.
He wants to say that even black people will manage to find a good future, following a new path, the same way any other human being will.
The other examples do not seem correct to me.
