For this activity, think about the incredibly complex chain of events leading to Myrtle’s death and about various people who played a hand in it.
Step 1: Mathematically break down the blame in the chart, noting what percentage of guilt for which each source is responsible (it needs to add up to 100%, and you can't give all the blame to just one person. Each person listed contributed in some way even if they were not the ones who actually killed her.)
Step 2: For each source, provide a brief explanation (with specific textual evidence) as to why you believe they deserve the percentage of blame you gave them.

Myrtle Elizabeth Warren (1928/1929– 13 June 1943), more commonly known after her death as Moaning Myrtle, was a Muggle-born witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1940–1943 and was sorted into Ravenclaw house. She was killed in 1943 by the Serpent of Slytherin, under Tom Riddle's orders.
