HEY GUYS ! PLEASE HELP ME PUT THESE IN THE CORRECT ORDER !! It’s my last assignment for this semester. It’s 50 pts.
Place the events in the order in which they would have actually occurred during Emily Grierson's life. You are welcome to use your copy of the story.
Emily Grierson is born and grows up in a home designed in the style of the 1870's. Note: Emily's house is a symbol of isolation.

When the new generation expects Emily to pay her taxes, she tells them to speak to Colonel Sartoris. This happens 30 years after the "smell."
Homer Barron is seen going into Emily's house and is never seen alive again.
Emily dies and the town holds her funeral.
Miss Emily's house smells of decomposition. The townsmen sprinkde lime in her yard.
When she is over 30 and single, Miss Emily's father dies. For 3 days, she refuses to believe he is dead.
