A) All resolutions end with clear solutions to the conflict and a 'happily ever after' result
The Narrative Arc or Story Arc are the chapters of events within the story lines.
The Exposition is an element of the Story Arc where the characters, setting, background events and necessary information is introduced.
The Climax is an element of the Story Arc where something major happens (most desperate ordeal) with the characters, places, events.
The Falling Action is an element of the Story Arc where plot points are wrapped up. It is the calm after the climax. In contrast with the Rising Action, the Falling Action is short.
The Resolution is an element of the Story Arc where the story becomes complete, but it isn’t always happy. Sometimes, authors leave some issues unresolved.
