God dang thats good

I always think of our times together

I've never denied that powerful spark

The warmth of your love in cold weather

Thoughts of you lifted me in the dark

But then, your eyes trained on another

And my heart was broken and shattered

My failing hoped then found my mother

And I knew, to you, I still mattered

But now, my heart seeks ti be free

I am breaking the bonds I have set

For, even though I ran to you for safety

I soon learned that I needn't fret

For now, my heart will set you aside

And let myself experience this crazy ride
