Let’s say that i’m telling my friend that i came to this country before 1 year ago .. should i say “ i’ve arrived at the airport before 1 year ago” or “i arrived at the airport before 1 year ago” ?

It should be, "I arrived at the airport before 1 year ago." Have is present tense. : )
