seacoast silhouette
all up and down the dunes,
the tall green grasses dance,
as the wind plays lively tunes
across the sandy expanse.
but the moon above is a statue, 5
silent and somber and still,
its reflection on the sea is a tattoo,
that we watch from upon the hill.
