What is the best way to describe the theme of "pygmalion"?

In Pygmalion we see that the girl Eliza is treated badly from both the note taker and the other dude (i forgot his name). They are both high class, and the other dude treats Eliza badly like trash and the note taker treats her like a specimen and this is all because of her class born lower class.
