Thank you so much for your support in getting these new books into the hands of my class! They were literally jumping up and down with excitement when they first saw the brand new books out in my classroom. Now the old books I had before, which was at the top of every class's list of must reads they most wanted to read, has become second-best because they all want to read the new ones! I have to keep reminding them that the old one used to be a prized commodity! Having new books has made such a difference in our ability to perform language usage. I'm now able to have small groups of students rotate through all of the different parts, including the literacy line, and allow every student to experience each of the parts. I have also been able to incorporate them into the 5th and 6th grader's units on words and great reading!
