I don't think you ruined it. You shouldn't really interfere with other people's problems, and just talking to someone doesn't ruin their relationship. Unless you said something extremely offensive to them, you shouldn't be blaming yourself for anything.
The view of "hurting everyone" is mostly psychological. You may think you're hurting everyone, but in reality you may be actually helping them despite what you may think; it's all due to how you think.
You should try and find happiness for yourself once in a while, and stop only helping others. Self care is really important, and bottling up emotions isn't the best way to go. Video games and TV taught me that much (I'm looking at you Doki Doki Literature Club and Steven Universe). If you're hurting, you should try to reach out to people you trust, such as a family, or a friend, or a teacher, etc.
I used to think that I kept upsetting my friends whenever I said something, but that wasn't the case. Thinking like this is mostly because of things that we've gone through. We should learn and try to let go of the past, and start looking at what the future holds.
I hope this helped. I hope you know that you are so, so loved and that there is someone out there who cares about you, no matter the distance.
