These resources are important, for several reasons, the first of which being that it can help stifle subconscious whispers of racism in people's minds, which can come from their surroundings and affect them without them even being conscious of it. Anti-racist resources would help people to actively combat it, and make sure that they are staying on the right track, and being entirely fair.

It contributes to having a growth mindset by stopping to ask oneself, "Is what I'm doing fair/acceptable?" and leading them to be able to be introspective more often, for growth and success.

The version with vivid language is more interesting. I can see the main character playing the game and hear him shouting. I can feel the pain in his forehead and the tugging at his cap. The language connects with my senses in a way that makes the story seem real.
