Hitler and the Nazis carried out this policy mainly for two reasons:

The Nazis hated the Jewish people, they believed that they had too much economic power, and that this power should be reduced.The need for funds: the main economic goal of the Nazis was to boost the German economy in order to finance a powerful military that would take over most of Europe.
