Assertive communication is the ability to open up about your positive and negative ideas in a more direct and honest way.  

Assertive communication can either break or make your relationship with the other person. It will help you to express your feelings and thoughts openly but the other person may or may not understand.  

It will give you the satisfaction but involves the risk that the other person may not approve your views.
