Why are people hesitant to report corruption

People are hesistant to report corruption because they are afraid of what might happen to them in the case when they do it. This is so because people who are at power often also tend to have the chance to be corrupt and with power comes also the ability to hurt the people who would like to hurt you. That is why people are hesitant to report corruption. 

Hearts can be broken into a lot of pieces metaphorically. This is because after a breakup or loss of someone, then sadness takes over your heart.
