1 The birth of a nation promoted and dignified the KKK as a group of morally upright and courageous knight, who fought against immigrants, Jews, Catholics, and white-women raping blacks. It was also notorious for been the first film to be shot in the white house.

2. The resurgence of the KKK in the 1920 was due to the new founder; Simmons getting inspiration from the, movie birth of a nation.

4. The ultimate goal of the NAACP was to fight for the improvement of the living standards of the colored people, and the enforcement of the rights in the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth amendments. The goal was to improved the lives of colored people regardless of where they were in America.

5. The Pullman strike ended when the president ordered federal troops to return the striking labor back to work in Chicago. The labor fought back and a riot ensued,leading to the death of citizens and loss of properties.

6. Sinclair’s book The Jungle, drew the attention of the public to the unsanitary nature of things in the slaughter houses. The book triggered  American citizens to call for the government's involvement in regulation policies, especially in slaughter houses.
