As of the 2010 Census, there were 1,214 incorporated cities and towns in Texas. They range in size from the City of Houston as the largest population, at 2,099,451 as of the 2010 Census, down to small incorporated townships of less than 100 people.  The five largest cities are Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin and Fort Worth.
