As president, Andrew Jackson brought major changes to the United States. He expanded voting rights for some Americans, changed the U.S. economy by pushing back against the National Bank, and forced American Indians off their lands. In your opinion, which change — voting rights, the economy, or Indian removal — still influences Americans the most today? Write a short paragraph explaining your answer.

There were several different conditions that caused French citizens to revolt in the late 18th century. Here is a list of some of the most important ones:

1) Debt- Even though the French economy was struggling during this era due to their involvement in the Seven Years War and American Revolution, the first estate (leaders of France) faced no financial hardship. This resulted in the burden of debt being put on the third estate, which consisted of the average French citizen.

2) Lack of political power.- In the 3 estate system, the voting was set up to give the wealthiest/elite the most political power. The first and second state (consisting of clergy men and nobles) had more political power than roughly 90% of the French population. This imbalance constantly resulted in the "average"French citizen having little say in the government.
