For my en092 class, we were given a take home quiz that is due november 7th and it counts as a test grade. for the take home quiz i have to write a paragraph about my passions/hobbies. my writing teacher wants the following ten concepts in the paper prepositional phrases, gerund phrase, infinitive phrase, appositive phrase, relative clause, independent and dependent clause, semicolon with no use of a coordinating conjunction, coordinating conjunction, conjunctive adverb, and dependent and independent clause. i can give a sample of my paragraph so far. i just need to know if i am on the right track and if not what do i need to do to fix my paragraph and earn a high grade. when i was thirteen or fourteen years old, i discovered my love of comic books and graphic novels. i would save what little money i had and buy books i became completely obsessed. i find it fun and relaxing to read about fictional worlds and the interesting characters in them, i would get lost in the world of makebelieve. i am constantly looking for more books to purchase and add to my collection. my comic collection has been the only constant thing in my life for the past several years. although, i tend to spend a lot of money on this passion of mine; i still enjoy the peace that it brings to me.
