Martin Luther King. Jr
Explanation:
Even though some form of discrimination still persist today, the situations were significantly worse between the period of 1950s and 1960s. Many companies at that time openly refuse to hire individuals simply because of the color of their skin. The minorities also receive very bad treatment from financial institutions that prevented them to thrive in society.
During that time, a group of activists gathered to fight for this injustice. Martin Luther King Jr was one o the prominent leader of this movement. His efforts eventually lead to the creation of the Civil Rights act in 1964. This act effectively prohibited preferential treatment among institutions based on color, gender, religion, or ethnicities.
