The American Revolution was the war that was fought for Independence from the British. It changed the way of our rights, our freedoms, and gave our country it's own freedom to be one's own nation. It shaped our country through these changes. We were given the right to vote, give representation, etc. It allowed for many people to come to America as a safe place and country to go to. We founded our Country on the idea that all men are equal since England forced us with things like taxes. We wanted a better and more stable nation. It changed the way our culture works today.
I hope this helps!
