How did the classical civilization of Greece influence the culture of other peoples in the world?

The Western world was highly influenced by the ancient Greeks. The Greeks changed the way the world looks at art, math, architecture, philosophy, sports, and drama. Without the ancient Greeks, the modern world would not be the same. Men such as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle changed the way we look at philosophy.

In short the Greeks are admired all around us today, they built fabulous and luxurious buildings that the Roman’s took after, they colonized places like Sicily, and took over places like Persia and Egypt. They were masters of culture, including the arts, architecture, governance, and philosophy. Later the Roman’s would take much after them, which lead to Hellenic thought being spread throughout the entire world. Even looking at the US Capitol, much of it is built in a Greco-Roman style.
