The answer is given below
Explanation:
Federalism is a system of government whereby power is being divided between the federal government and different state governments. The constitution of the United States give some powers to the national government, while others are given to state governments, or some instances, both governments share certain powers.
It should be noted that the two-party system that the United States uses is affected by federalism as different parties can be victorious in the local, state or the national elections. This therefore leads to lesser risk of monopoly which a party could have gotten.
