US President Woodrow Wilson faced multiple problems in Europe after World War I including:
1) France's intentions on punishing Germany- At the meeting in Versailles where members from the Allied would create the treaty to end World War I, France was focused on developing severe punishments for Germany. France severed a significant amount of loss in both lives and property during World War I and blamed Germany for most of these damages. This made it difficult for Wilson, who wanted a peace treaty that would not include punishments for Germany.
2) Lack of support for his 14 Points. - Wilson's 14 Points were his outline for what he wanted the world to look like after World War I. However, many of his ideas were not supported or implemented by other nations at Versailles.
