How was the middle class different after the industrial revolution than it was before

 The industrial revolution led to the growth of the industrial revolution strata in the society. Before the revolution, the society was mainly divided into the poor and the extremely wealth, who often controlled governments. However, after the industrial revolution, the middle class grew rapidly to what it is today.
