A. Battle of the Bulge
Explanation:
On this map we have depicted the Battle of the Bulge. This battle was the last battle in which the Germans had an offensive. It was an offensive that was somewhat successful for the Germans, for only short period of time though. The Germans actually exhausted their last resources on this battle in a desperate attempt to defeat the Allied forces, thus after the battle they were not capable of defending themselves. The Allied forces used this, though with around six weeks delay because of this battle, and attacked the German army. Supported by the USSR's invasion of Poland from the other side, the Allies were quickly taking down the Germans, leading to collapse and destruction of Germany.
