The French Revolution was a period of time in France, from 1789 to 1799, when the people dethroned the monarchy and took control of the government. It began on July 14, 1789, when revolutionaries captured a prison called the Bastille.
From the beginning of the Revolution the French government was in a constant state of change as well as being attacked by foreign countries on all sides and a civil war was breaking out in many regions. It could be said that as a conclusion to the events of the French Revolution, radicals led by Maximilien Robespierre took over the government and started what it is considered to be the darkest period of French Revolution, called the Reign of Terror, which lasted from 1793 to 1794.
During this time, they were arrested and executed by guillotine anyone who was suspected might not be loyal to the revolution. Thousands of people were executed including Queen Marie Antoinette and many of Robespierre's political rivals.

When Assyrians captured people the often treated them worse then the animals. They burn their cities down, they put them into slavery, or torture and kill them. They made them move far away from where they were captured because they don't want the captives to try to go back to where they came from or run and get help.
