The leg of the triangular trade in which slave ships took Africans to the Americas. It was an extremely hard  voyage for them and many died along the way.  The slaves lived in close quarters and most likely they were given food rationings. The sick weren't given food and so they died not only from sickness but also from starvation. This triangle trade was also the leg of molasses and rum trading. Hopefully this helps.
