I 100% think that it was the correct decision. I think every woman should have that choice because the fact of the matter is men do not always know the circumstance of the pregnancy and they should not have that right to tell us no if THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE TO CARRY AND HAVE THE CHILD. For instance if i was raped and got pregnant that would first of all not have been my fault i was raped and second i would not exactly want to have a child with the person who violated me personally and I do not need a reminder of that constantly. Oh and also is the man who raped me there to help me pay for the expenses of being pregnant, having the child or raising it... no i didn't think. SO what makes this my obligation? Just because I am a female? That sure as hell doesn't make sense. Men are not held responsible for getting women pregnant so why should women be forced to have and raise that child. The father just gets to keep living and could never even know they had a kid because they either did not use a condom because that is how they "like '' it or because they do not care because it is not like they have to raise the kid. It messed up how men are sitting her trying to enforce these laws and by calling us "baby killers" when in reality if men did not have this need to not wear a condom because it "feels better" or do something with out consent there would most likely be less accidental pregnancy and women wanting abortions. You know what would feel better for me? Knowing I was able to not have a child if any of these circumstances happened to me.
