BILL OF RIGHTS
Over the course of history, the Constitution to the U.S. of America is referred to as a living document. Today many of the civil rights and liberties of citizens of the United States of America are protected by the Bill of Rights. People often times feel that law enforcement officials have had the upper hand over citizens including criminals. However many have argued that the Bill of Rights especially the rights laid out in the 4th, 5th and 6th Amendments have place extreme limits on the powers of law enforcement in that it prevents them from doing their jobs.

The 4th amendment protects people from unwarranted searches or seizures of that person's property among other things
The 5th Amendment declares that " no person should be held to answere for a capital or infamous crime except upon indictment of a grand jury" so it helps people alot.
The 6th Amendment guarantees a person a speedy and public trial. I belive the speed trial because of the people's right to go free if found innocent and so the goverment cannt imprison a person for an outrageous amount of time, as well as so their defense can be aduquility prepared. The public to make sure it's a fair and just trial.
This does not prevent law enforcement from doing a good job, it nearly protects a person's right to live free. As well as the right to not live in a police state, where the goverment does whatever they want without boundaries.
