Can anyone me figure out what or how i get my equations from word problems like these?

Subtract the numbers

3/4 (48-16)=4(4 + 2x)

3/4(32)=4(4+2x)

Multiply the numbers

3/4x32=4(4 + 2x) Remember 3/4 is equal to .75

24=4(4 + 2x)

Rearrange terms

24=4(4 + 2x)

24=4(2x + 4)

24=8x+16

Subtract  1 6  from both sides of the equation

24-16=8x+16-16

8=8x+16-16

8=8x

Divide both sides of the equation by the same term

8=8x

8=8x

8   8

Simplify

1=8x

   8

Cancel terms that are in both the numerator and denominator

1=x

Move to the left
