to find this you need to turn 15% into a decimal by dividing by 100:
15/100= 0.15
you then take 0.15 and multiply it by the cost of the shirt which is $85 to find out how much is taken off of the price and then take your answer and subtract it from $85:
(85)(0.15)=$12.75 off
$85.00-$12.75= $72.25 total after 15% is taken off
now, let's do the additional 10% off the same way except we will subtract the discount from $72.25
10/100=0.1
(85)(0.1)= $8.50 off
$72.25-$8.50=$63.75 as your final total
