The fraction of the fertilizer is left =![\dfrac38.](/tpl/images/1166/2737/a315b.png)
Step-by-step explanation:
Given: Fraction of fertilizer used in first garden =![\dfrac38](/tpl/images/1166/2737/d5314.png)
Fraction of fertilizer used in second garden =![\dfrac14](/tpl/images/1166/2737/eb00b.png)
Fraction of fertilizer used in third garden = 1- (Fraction of fertilizer used in first garden)-(Fraction of fertilizer used in second garden)
=![1-\dfrac38-\dfrac14](/tpl/images/1166/2737/22517.png)
Hence, the fraction of the fertilizer is left =![\dfrac38.](/tpl/images/1166/2737/a315b.png)
