If you already know the answer, it is 1+x+x^2+x^3+x^4, easy to remember.
If not, we can use the binomial expansion:
1/(1-x) = (1-x)^(-1) = 1+((-1)/1!)(-x)+(-1)(-2)/2!(-x)^2+(-1)(-2)(-3)/3!(-x)^3+...
which gives 1+x+x^2+x^3+x^4+...
Then 1/(1-x)^2 is just (1/(1-x))^2, or
