1. What event are we looking for in this experiment? We‘re looking for the probability that after picking 4 students at random, at least one has blue eyes.
2. How do you calculate this probability? A test has N trials, each trial you record whether or not an event took place or not. Then you get the experimental probability of that event by summing the amount of times an event took place, and dividing by N.
3. So looking at this table I see 10 instances where the group of 4 had 1 or more students with blue eyes.
