At this point we're back at the right triangle of the bottom face of the box, of hypotenuse 20.78' and side lenght 16'. Phythagorean theorem again:

The base would be 500 ft

The angle is 39 degrees

The base is adjacent to the angle

The height of the bird is opposite the angle.

Tan( angle) = opposite leg/ adjacent leg
