How to find quadratic model? I am learning on quadratic models and the school video example is (2,10),(10,12), and (4,12) for the quadratic equation y=ax^2+bx+c which simplifies to {4a+2b+c=10; 100a+10b+c=12; 16a+4b+c=12.
Then the video suddenly transitions to solution a=-0.125, b=1.75, c=7 with no explanation.
Where did the decimals come from or is it something i shouldn't over think? I seriously don't get it
