How to find the hypotenuse of a 30 60 90 triangle with one leg given?

If it is the "short" leg, then multiply the leg by 2.

If the leg is the side opposite the 60 degree angle, then we know the short side = 1 and hypotenuse = 2.
Multiplying the leg by 2 / (sq root (3)) yields the hypotenuse length.
